Set Up Your Business in RAK DAO

Step 1 - Choose your business type

Decide on the company you will establish.

To establish a digital assets company/permit, select type of registration.

  • Freelance Permit
  • Remote Company
  • Standard Company

Step 2 - Submit application and necessary documents

Through the submission process, you will be required to:

  • Select your license type

  • Choose your business activity from the activity group.

  • Submit the necessary documents

  • Provide the required documents

  • Provide personal information for the applicants

  • You must disclose information about every major shareholder to register your company. The information should incorporate input from shareholders, directors, managers, secretary (if applicable), nominee(s), POA holders, and other relevant parties. The registry must document this information to comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Once you have submitted your application, we will review and process it. We will assess your business plan, financial documents, and compliance with regulations. Once approved, you will receive your license and will be able to commence operations in RAK.

As a RAK DAO license holder, you can access our facilities, infrastructure, and business support services. This includes assistance with visas, permits, and other administrative requirements.

      jurisdiction).
    • Incumbency Certificate or equivalent (issued within the last 3 months)
    • Valid trade license (if applicable)

    • UBO Declaration
    • Board/shareholder’s resolution

What’s in a name?

Everything! Firstly, your name must comply with our tradename guidelines. Secondly, no two business entities may share the same name.

 

As part of the submission process, you are required to provide three alternative names for your business.

 

If none of the proposed company names are unique compared to our existing dataset, your application will be temporarily placed on hold for a human review.

 

In such cases, the portal will present you with the option to proceed or pause at this application stage.
